Meeting Minutes: Tuesday, May 20, 2014

The Arkansas Corvair Club met at our regular meeting place, US Pizza on McCain Park Drive, NLR, on Tuesday, May 20.The meeting was called to order by president, Keith LaCrosse. The minutes from our April meeting were read and approved. Elvis King gave a financial report. We currently have $2,122.92 in our treasury. We had 31 members in attendance including Bill Smith who is back from living and working in China for an extended period of time.

Old Business

Clyde Jones reported on the Crawdad Days Car Show held in Harrison on May 17. He said many people showed an interest in the Corvairs and enjoyed looking at them. There were 172 antique vehicles registered for the show.

New Business

Cathy Smith said the person she had discussed making our club logo might not be able to do it. Keith is going to check with a person at his work about creating the logo for the club.


Clyde Jones said the annual NAPA Auto show will be held on the War Memorial Stadium parking lot on Saturday, June 7. Frank Campbell said that Hardin Baptist Church in White Hall will be hosting a classic car show on Saturday, June 7.
